Autozone Online Ordering Sucks

So I recently ordered $100+ in parts from Autozone.com and have had nothing but problems.
1. Never received a confirmation email
2. When logging in to check my order it said my email account did not exist
3. Went to my local Autozone and they said no parts shipments were enroute to my house.
4. When finally able to log in it said order was shipped
5. 2 week went by and no order had showed up
6. Contacted Autozone by email and they said my order did not ship because parts were out of stock and they had no estimate on when parts would be ready. However, I was never notified of this prior.

yeah the Autozone by my house has a bunch of 40yr old ghetto losers that dont know anything about cars. When you tell them that your Ford has Chevy brakes and they argue with you it makes you want to avoid that place. Only reason I went online is because there was a 15% off sale and free shipping to my house. I am all for Toms or Wild Horses, but they could not even come close on the price an no free shipping.

#1 mistake is never tell the guy at the counter that your ford has ch#vy parts. That just confuses the hell out of them. Just ask for the parts you need for the vehicle it actually fits not what its actually on.
I made that mistake long ago when I asked for a fuel pump for a ch#vy truck for a oldsmobile car that had a truck engine in it, Well they didnt have a fuel pump for a truck so then I asked for a fuel pump for a car probably monte carlo or camero whatever I could think of anyhow they had that pump which was actually the same part number as the truck pump go figure. Eitherway the counter guy was very confused and I was pissed at there insistance that the pump would not work even after i showed them that it was the same exact part number.
Now if the guy seems to know something about cars then thats a little different. but still 90% of the guys at the parts store dont know anything unless the computer says so and they know even less if your vehicle is over 10years old.

But I have so much fun having them look for parts for my 74 Bronco with a 300 six and NP435. One guy told me that he had nothing listed and asked to look under the hood to make sure it was not a 200, His face was priceless when I popped it open.

But it is tough as my 300 did not come from a vehicle, it is off a woodchipper.
