Axle cleaning and gear ratios?

... I didn't read too long. IDRTL. But If I were cleaning it .. I'd scrape a bunch off while art the shop ... Then I'd m load it on a trailer & SPRAY IT Down with some Spray degreaser . & Off to the car wash .. one that actually has hot water . Then when I got there I'd spray it down again before & gave it a bath. Look it over & maybe a 2nd bath.
After the trip home it should be dry enough to paint .
I kind of like that RustOleum Black i the spray cans .
