How do i tell if my 9" is big bearing or small bearing, high pinion or not. also on the D44 how do i tell what i have. and what does reverse cut mean. also how well will my 28 slpine 9" hold up to 37's and a detriot. Im fixing to order a detriot and new gears...

small bearing won't flare out at end like that one. No eb came with a hp 44 so you most likely don't have one its not the easyest thing in the world to put in. Reverse cut is the same has hp. just means the gears run on other side stonger side in a front 44. they don't run in any different direction. And the 28spline might hold up depending on how hard you run but might as well upgrade to 31 spline and bb if you can.

big bearing in pic you can see how the where the bearing sits is larger then the tube this indicates big bearing.
