What is the easiest way to replace my rear axle seal? I've removed the axle and I'm looking for a way to remove the seal without damaging the axle housing. Thanks.

A slide hammer is the easiest way. You should be able to borrow or rent one from a local parts store.

I just used a screwdriver and worked around the edge. Came out pretty easy. Used a large socket to put a new one in.

Thanks guys,

I went to Autozone and borrowed a slide hammer with a seal puller attachment. I tried the screwdriver for about 10 minutes, but that sucker wasn't going to budge. It took about 6 good hits with the slide hammer.
