I found out this weekend that I have a bad lower ball joint on my passenger side. i have been looking at ball joints and have found several different brands and was wondering what people are using. Looking for the one that is going to handle some abuse. Also is there a non greaseable ball joint?

Here is what I have found.
Spicer service grade version ~ $9
Spicer Professional Grade version ~ $30 to $34
moog ~ $30 to $35
Mevotech ~ $24 to $27
MOTORCRAFT ~ $45 to $48
ACDELCO ~$53 to $56

I'm bought a set I plan to put in this fall. They are Spicer and like the factory origonals have no zerk fitting. I guess thats OK since the ones on there now have over 250K and checked out OK on the alignment machine.

Moog or Spicer Professional. I've used both (Moog in the Bronco and Spicer in the GPW) and haven't had any problems.

Moog is the only one that you can grease the upper ball joint without removing the front axle shaft. they're the only way to go.

Thanks for the replies, I had heard that I should go with one that is non-greaseable as they are stronger. Sounds like either moog or spicer. does anyone know what Napa sells as there online store does not show MFG. Where did you pick up the spicer ball Joints?
