If I plan on having a/c in the future should I keep the wot a/c relay in my efi harness? or will it all work ok without it.

I'd get rid of it unless you plan to use AC and WOT at the same time.

much easier to eliminate the check engine light. just plug in the code reader from time-to-time or count the flashes. if one of those dealies is wired wrong the check engine light won't go out and you'll probably go crazy trying to find out why. my $.02.

I thought they were needed to keep the engine running smothly, not just to keep the light out.

They just keep the light out. A CEL is a good thing to have though. That and the resistors will be a fraction of the cost of a code reader.

Just one more thing and then I'm ready to redo my harness again so I don't want to screw up. I have an A9P eec for an automatic, Pin 30 gets grounded? I keep thinking I'll get that wrong and burn it up.

With A9P pin 30 goes to "S" on starter solenoid.

You'll also need resistors for the EVP. Here is the diagram.
