Since I was the appointed organizer of this mass buy, I will contact Bauman today and see how he wants to proceed from here. We need 20 PAID customers in order to get the discount. Perhaps Bauman could post a list of paid customers by their user name. When that list reaches 20, then perhaps he will begin shipment.

Any other suggestions?

I don't want to pay and wait for 6 months so will there be some sort of dead line and or back up plan if the 20 count is not reached?

I just got off of the phone with Kevin at Bauman's.

To summarize, this mass buy is for the harness and the controller. Normal price is $610. He will give it to us at $460. Add $10 if you want the loom kit. The question at this point is, "How many of you can go through with this buy right now?" He will NOT send out any units until 20 customers have PAID. He told me that with the 4-5 mass buys they have done, about 30% back out at the last minute or eventually ask for their money back.

How the process works:
1. Call Bauman's at 1-864-646-8920 and ask for Kevin
2. Give him the specifics of your particular application
--are you using the RJM harness? (will give you the adapter at no cost. This must be wired in when the Bauman harness is made).
--the year of your transmission (for the Ford transmissions, he has three different harnesses depending on the year)
--do you want the optional loom kit (additional $10)
--do you need the valve modification kit (for applications over 350hp)
--how close will the controller be mounted? Get 2' length if mounted behind passenger side of dash or glove box, get 5' length if mounted on driver's side dash or in console.
3. Give him name and address.
4. May use credit card or PayPal to make payment (shipping and insurance are extra)
--if using PayPal, use the phone number above as the recipient of the funds sent.
5. If you live in South Carolina plan on paying sales tax.

One problem I foresee is for those who pay right off and have to wait for 20 paid orders. There is no guarantee how long after you send payment that we have that number together.

I will bein, been wanting to do this swap for quite a while. I am IN for sure but don't have a tranny yet to know the year for ordering. I am on vacation right now but will call Kevin on Tuesday and get searching for a tranny ASAP. What is the going rate for a tranny, low miles. Is there a better year than others?
