BC Bronco Header Issues on GT40P Heads

Easiest way to tell the difference is the P heads have 4 lines on the front and year of the head whereas the 40 only has 3 lines.

If they're original to the Lightning they are GT40 not P.

The GT40P came into the Explorer/Mountaineer in Jan or Feb of 1997 (even Ford sources aren't sure).

Hey Twidgeon, I have the same set up with GT40P heads and headers from Bronco Hut. Do you have any problem as far as dipstick's location?

I used the stock 2001 Explorer setup and everything works well. I did slightly bend the dipstick tube. You can bend the tube a good bit just go slow and be sure not to kink it.
