Wow,
BC Broncos a Texas based company! Now that's good news.

Here's some more good news Chuck, you're only 82 miles from Katemcy! Right up the road is the best rock crawling in the entire Lone Star State

Proof, I'm not lying!

Welcome to Texas, Chuck and family, we look forward to havin' y'all.

This is exciting!! My bronco has been on hold for the last year. Have been in a slump. You moving to Texas Chuck will probably bring me out of that slump. Especially since you will only be about 70 miles south of me. (Llano).

The oldest boy is going to be excited about this. The Bronco is ultimately going to be his. We can just fire it up and come see you. Might need a trailer to get everything back.

Welcome to the Texas Hill Country.

Great to have you moving to Texas Chuck!

When you get closing to moving, make sure to give us LEBC guys a holler so we can be sure so head out to Comfort and welcome you. It'll be nice to have a BC Broncos so close to San Antonio and right on the way to the LEBC Spring Round-Up.

If you're looking for local powder coating, check out Capital Powder Coating at http://www.capitalpowder.us. The shop is owned by Bronco owners and they are currently building an almost entirely powder coated Bronco. I am sure they are already familiar with BC Broncos. I had them powder coat my timing cover, intake, oil pan, and headers and everything really turned out nice. Good people.

Good luck with the move!

Some Texas facts (Pre Presidential Election)

The Future of Texas:

Please note that Texas is the only state with a legal right to secede from the Union(please refer to the Texas-American Annexation Treaty of 1848). We Texans love ya'll, but we'll have to take action if Kerry wins the presidency over Bush. We'll miss you too. Texas has given all those complainers plenty of time to get used to the results. After seeing the whiners along the campaign route, the folks from Texas are considering taking matters into our hands.

Here is our solution:
#1: Let John Kerry become President of the United States. (all 49 states.)
#2: George W. Bush becomes the President of the Republic of Texas.

So what does Texas have to do to survive as a Republic?

1. NASA is just south of Houston, Texas. (We will control the space industry.)

2. We refine over 85% of the gasoline in the United States.

3. Defense Industry. We have over 65% of it. The term "Don't mess with Texas," will take on a whole new meaning.

4. Oil - We can supply all the oil that the Republic of Texas will need for the next 300 years. Yankee states? Sorry about that.

5. Natural Gas - Again we have all we need and it's too bad about those northern states. John Kerry will figure a way to keep them warm ...

6. Computer Industry - We currently lead the nation in producing computer chips and communications: Small places like Texas Instruments, Dell Computer, EDS, Raytheon, National Semiconductor, Motorola, Intel, AMD, Atmel, Applied Materials, Ball Semiconductor, Dallas Semiconductor, Delphi, Nortel, Alcatel, etc, etc. The list goes on and on.

7. Health Centers - We have the largest research centers for Cancer research, the best burn centers and the top trauma units in the world and other large health planning centers.

8. We have enough colleges to keep us going: UT, Rice, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, SMU, University of Houston, Baylor, UNT, Texas Women's University, etc. Ivy grows better in the south anyway

9. We have a ready supply of workers. (just open the Mexican border when we need some more).

10. We have control of the paper industry, plastics, insurance, etc.

11. In case of a foreign invasion, we have the Texas National Guard and the Texas Air National Guard. We don't have an army but since everybody down here has at least six rifles and a pile of ammo, we can raise an army in 24 hours if we need it. If the situation really gets bad, we can always call Department of Public Safety and ask them to send over a couple Texas Rangers.

12. We are totally self sufficient in beef, poultry, hogs and several types of grain, fruit and vegetables and lets not forget seafood from the gulf. And everybody down here knows how to cook them so that they taste good. Don't need any food.

This just names a few of the items that will keep the Republic of Texas in good shape. There isn't a thing out there that we need and don't have.

Now to the rest of the United States under President Kerry:
Since you won't have the refineries to get gas for your cars, only President Kerry will be able to drive around in his 9 mile per gallon SUV The rest of the United States will have to walk or ride bikes. You won't have any TV as the space center in Houston will cut off your communications. You won't have any natural gas to heat your homes but since Mr. Kerry has predicted global warming, you will not need the gas.

I believe that snopes.com talked this one over a while back. Very little truth there.

I may be moving to San Antonio and having a bronco shop in Comfort would be a, well...comfort. I can't say that I have ever been to a "bronco" shop before. See ya down there Chuck! Need a draftsman by chance?

Classic 4x4 sales my stuff on the east side. Nice people. Once we move their shipping cost will also go down.

Hey Chuck, first my congrats on getting off the left coast, and my condolences at the same time, I HATE moving......
I hope you find a wonderful new home filled with great neighbors and a welcoming business community.

NOW tell us more about Classic 4x4, I am not familiar with them. Do they sell from a website?
Where are they located?
I woudn't mind saving a few dollars on shipping here and there if you still make money from the parts.
Thanks
Chris in WV
Oh btw, when TX gets as expensive as CA was, we will still have room for you in WV!

Some stuff is there, and some is still in the process of getting there. Last time I spoke with the CA BC reps, a truck or two was on its way east.

My buddy got a gas tank from the Texas location, but the mounting hardware was still en route......

I spoke to them on Friday to find out about delivery of the new arms. They are still waiting on some pieces. I also ask about a tank and was told the same thing...waiting on the mounting hardware.

As of now everything is shipped out of Texas. Debbie, Gretchen and Roxanne are all out there now and open for business. I was at the old place today helping Chuck dismantle some racks and pack some of the last few inventory items. He's heading back to TX this week and will be back out here soon. He thinks he needs to make a couple more trips still. Mostly what is left here are his machine and hand tools, and stuff related to his racer. The racer is going last because he'll be using it in a local race out here April 1 before loading it up and sending it to TX.
