Well, the latest sew shop just called me back to let me know that he will not be making tops for me. This is after he gave me the price and told me he would make them. I think they got too busy with Gov. contracts (big money). Anyway I will try again to find someone, I have a few other leads but for now our top is on the back burner. I can not make sew shops sew so I will not post about headway until I have product in hand. I apologize to those that have waited soo long for my top and advise you to go to plan B because I have no idea when I will have a top.

Chuck is there in up date on the top? It is way down on my list of things but, I would like to see available and reasonable(I know a loaded word) when I am ready.

It's more a "I am interested list" no commitment. The update, We have redesigned the top to make it simpler which will make cost less to produce and still have the hi quality. I will know more later today about when I can start taking orders.

Great news Chuck...what part(s) have been redesigned?
Here is a picture of the new frame The black part is the same and the unpainted is the new parts. We removed the glass side windows and made the the top part 1 piece with removable side and rear panels. Same quality just simpler to make= cost less but no 1/2 cab option for now. I am on my way to a shop in the morning to have the canvas made. I am told it will be done next week.

Looks Good. So is the frame one piece or multiple pieces bolted together?
I'm only thinking that it would be a pain to store for the 70 percent of the time that I'd be running with no top.

The 2 sides are welded but everything else comes apart. The 3 hoops, rear header, windsheild header and over the door parts are all bolted. The idea is to get the whole thing into a box 60"x24"x6" or there abouts. It may end up in 2 boxes. Trying to keep the shipping cost down.

Dropped off the bronco above at the top shop today. I think we are on the same page and he should be done in a week.
