Best Aux Fuel Tank

I've had some issues with my old aux tank sealing at the sending unit. I see online that the pictures of the one that TBP sells appears to have some sort of metal flange that the sender fits into with a lock ring. Who makes the best aux tank right now. I guess they stopped making the steel ones?

I recently had exactly the same issue; I also couldn’t find a steel aux at the usual bronco vendors. I did find one at a gas tank manufacturer, but it was a few hundred more than the plastic ones. Dennis-Carpenter sells an 11 gallon one. LMC Truck says they sell an 11 gallon version, which I ordered, but it turned out to be a TBP boxed 8 gallon, P/N 6236. The sender ring attachment does appear to be better sealed than the older, multiple sheet metal screw version.

I have one from Tom’s and it’s nice. I’d buy it again. The only issue is the o ring it comes with is garbage.
