Lokking for a better solution with less fittings and no clamps. See attachment for example of cooler I am running stand alone fro now,not connected to the radiator). Currently running hard lines out of trans to baby hose ends and clamps to barbed a fittings on cooler with rubber hose and clamps to connect barbs. I am having to pull the trans because original builder did not get something installed correctly with internals (most likely torn seal on front hub causing internal pressure and slippage). I will get a pic later today for reference. I would like to have pre made hoses with fittings. Point me in the right direction.

Really hard to beat threaded hard line.
If you have to do rubber, be sure it is Automatic transmission / power steering hose. Many (most?) parts stores will sell you fuel hose to use as transmission cooler hose. That will lead to a failure. The makeup of transmission fluid and the heat it has will cook a fuel hose. Turn it rock hard and it will break, dumping the contents. Hot transmission fluid is flammable, I know people who use it as diesel fuel.
Metal line is also a cooler. May only add a little to the cooling package, but it adds something.

I used AN fittings and had hoses custom made from a company called improved racing. You can get heat shielding etc.. added to your hoses if you want. I can take pics later if it will help. I am using the derale 13870 just for reference. Good luck as I am also pulling/putting in my trans. for the 2nd time, hang in there.

My biggest thing against AN fittings is future repairs and hose to fitting compatibility. Not all hose ends are compatible with all hoses. I'm not talking about different sizes of hoses. Actual brand and model line of hose type of compatibility issues. Then if you don't do a lot of AN stuff, you may not have what you need later for service work. Crazy rock smashes the cooler while on a trip? Rubber and common metal hard line you can cobble a cooler from the local parts store using a generic cooler. Running fancy braided AN line, not have spare parts to convert to generic parts store stuff, you are hosed. Local hardware store is that small town won't have any AN fittings of any kind. Sure it looks cool when new, but down the trail it tends to be an issue.

This is an extremely valid and great point. There are many choices I have made that forward thinking wasn’t involved and it’s brutal and expensive when dealing with it.

Pics of my cooler and hoses. Metal tubing comes off the trans and goes back away from exhaust. You can see where it is leaking.
