The screw that holds the body lift and all that other good stuff on the EB broke (front right). What kind of screw do I need to buy. Like grade and size. I believe its a 3" body, I'm gunna measure in the morning.

I'm no expert, but I've read somewhere that Grade 8 is too brittle, and Grade 5 is just right for body mounts/lifts.

Like rulebreaker said just go to the hardware store and get a bolt, flat washer and nut that will fit. When I replaced my floor pans thats what I did. I had to use a drill bit to ream the hole out a bit.

Jimmyjames

I have changed the bolts many times in my toe hooks to qualify for a run.Funny thing is I use 1/2 inch bolts and I think grad 3 would hold, but I have changed from 5 to 8 and back because some people are anal about bolts!

I'm curious if anyone knows the lengths of the stock height bolts or has them written down some where.

They can't be too much longer than 3 to 4 inches. Heck, I would suggest buying 4 inch bolts and use a dremmel to cut of the excess

If one broke, do you think that others are not far behind? I ordered a set of bolts for my 2" body-lift from JD. They were grade 5.
