Im going to be repairing my passenger side rear body mount only. My question is if I repair with a large washer without removing the material underneth would this cause the tub liftgate, doors, ECT. to be off when closing them? Washer size 3/16 thick

When I did mine I took a chunk of 1/8 plate I had laying around and tacked it below the body mount hole and drilled a hole in the center of it and then took a big hole saw the size of the washer and drilled out the bad metal then flush mounted the washer at stock height. I welded it top and bottom and finished the upper welds smooth with the washer. Wish I would have taken some pictures of them but I can't seem to find any on my computer.

Are you talking about the frame or the body? If your talking about the frame, just get some Frame Savers. JBG sells them. You'll also need to pull the body though to do it right. If you are just going to tack in your washer on top of the frame then I would shim the rest of your mounts 3/16" to get everything level. That would be a good time to replace your body bushings too if they are old and worn out .http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/i-13099FS-frame-saver-set-of-4.html

I have the body off. The rot is on the frame side. I like sp71eb's idea. I think I'm going this rout with the repair. Thanks for the info.
