Brake Bleeder

I am having trouble getting the correct replacement for my plugged up brake bleeder. O'Reilly does not seem to have the correct part.

Any recommendations for stock replacement for my front and rear drums?

Maybe something from Summit?

I've seen the little bleeder things at other parts stores, may want to look elsewhere. If the wheel cylinders are old it probably wouldn't hurt to replace them anyway, they come with new bleeder valves to boot!

not to sure but check Toms Bronco, think remember them having some of those around..

I think they are 3/8-24. Why cant u take them out and run a small drill in by hand and blow them out? Am I missing something?

Yes Bronco Billy has the right specs

here is the speed bleader part for our trucks
SB3824 Thread 3/8 X 24 Length 1.29, (32.78)

This is the same size bleader used on just about any Ford truck well into the 2000's
I know my 2001 Lightning uses the same bleader as my Bronco

So if your part store can't find a bleader, find a new one. The only other possibility is someone may have replaced the wheel cylinder with a aftermarket one, that uses a different bleader

I put some speed bleeders in my Bronco a few weeks ago.. Definatly the way to go. Kinda spendy at 12 bucks a pair. But very worth it..

Thanks, I will try and clear them out and if that does not work I am thinking about doing the speed bleeders.
