Thanks Mal. Only question is, how to get the tupperware out of the kitchen without the little woman noticing.

I know what he meant. H4 halogen lights are not sealed. A few H4 lights are DOT legal here. The ones he linked to are definitely not legal here, even if they have the legal wattage of bulb put in them. The DOT is very strict about the shape of the beam created by any lens.

There are sealed beam halogens that are external identical to the standard and DOT approved. They are actually more common than the non halogen headlights. They are halogen, but there is no replacable bulb, because they are SEALED.
