Bronco accident (nothing catastrophic)

Just wanted to share with the bronco community: Yesterday I was taking my 2 yo and 5 yo home from a trip to Dunkin Donuts and had a nasty accident. I was turning left from a driveway across a two lane divided road and didn't see a little orange car coming. I was only doing about 5mph but the car was traveling pretty fast. He hit the front of the bronco, bounced off and ran up on a median. Thankfully, no one was injured. I had 5 separate people give me their cards and phone numbers as witnesses about the way the guy was driving... but I don't really want to talk about blame/fault and all... Just wanted to share some pics and tell my latest bronco story.

Anyways, I am attaching some pics of the damage. Doesn't look too bad aside from bumper and grill, but we will see when it goes to the shop.

That sucks. Most important thing is that no one was hurt.

Makes you wonder how the other guy was driving if you had that many people offer themselves up as witnesses.

It all looks repairable. Let us know the damage once you hear!

Wow! That sucks. Glad everyone was okay.
Where in Va are you located? Haven't found anyone local yet.

Well darn. Born and raised in Stafford. If you ever head back look me up.

Looks like a nice Bronco. Shouldn't be to much to fix.

good no one was hurt.
the damage looks easy enough to repair. might need to do some pulling/pushing on the core support/inner fender and possibly the front frame horns. if your paint job is decent you should be able to just shoot the front of the truck.

Glad you and your babies are all right! Can't imagine how scared you were when it all started to unfold! Good luck getting that tough ole bronco back on the road!

That's awful. I hope the kids weren't too scared.

At least your kids are fine. It looks like you have a nice Bronco, all can be repaired on it.

Thanks everyone, the kids were eating donuts throughout the whole incident! The paramedics and police were very nice to them. I think NicksTrix is spot on... New bumper/grill, and some work on the core support/frame horns and a front end paint job and I should be back in business.

I sold a bronco seat to a guy from Stafford this past Saturday. He has a 77 he's working on, not roadworthy yet. If you PM me your email I could forward it to him and maybe you could get together to swap stories. He was a heck of a nice guy.

Glad you and the kids are OK. My biggest fear when driving the bronco is an accident. If you were still in Stafford I have a nice grille for sale.

Glad to hear everyone is okay. Bummer about the damage though. Sounds like you're not to worried about it though. So...

What kind of damage did the other car sustain? I mean, usually when a bronco is involved the other cars don't fair so well. Is that the case this time too?

Nothing a little duct tape won't fix LOL.

Seriously glad you all walked away unscathed, that's the most important aspect. Overall, the damage doesn't look too bad on your Bronco.

Also wondering how much damage did the bronco inflict on the other car?
