Anyone notice the cover on the heater fresh air vent? Looks a bit different then my stock cover, and I noticed the hood doesn't appear to have grills for sucking in fresh air?!

Also, the driver's side fresh air vent appears to be completely sealed off...

That orange one is purdy.
But, i don;t like to pick out the short commings of things, but for a SEMA rig, Whats up the A pillar roll cage feet, you can see them in the 3rd pic, They look cool tucked way under the dash like that, but offer no protection :(, they will fold right away

I would venture to say that Wild Horses had a lot to do with the buildup with that rig, if not actually built it themselves.

For the rice pedals - they were used in Nascar asn such way before ricers ever thought to use them - I kinda like em ;), but they could get kinda slipery for use in a 4x....

It usually sits in his own private museum on the 2nd floor of his office suite in Torrance, CA. They let Ford show it at a few shows now and then.

Todd Z.

I doubt it's out on any websites anywhere yet. You could call Centerforce in a few weeks and ask more about it, I'm sure.

The bumpers are of course Protofab units, as is the hood. The cage and headers were built by McCabe Racing in Chino Valley, AZ. The engine is a TBI'd 351 Cleveland. The nice CNC work hid about a 12" electric fan mounted to the Be Cool radiator, which WILL NOT keep that Cleveland cool in the AZ summers. My partner and I spent quite a bit of time going over the truck this morning. It's pretty well put together and looks good, but needs a lot of finishing work yet.

Definitely all show and no go at this point, but I'm sure it'll be nice when they're finished.

Todd Z.

I'd take it off road. It would look better with some scratches anyhow.

Any other Ford employyes out there? I wonder if the site could benefit from us 'insiders'? (thought of this after reading that Parnelli lets Ford show Oly every now and then??)

Todd,
Did you get to see what type of oilpan there was under that 351C EB?
Was it aftermarket or a stock type rear sump?

I'm guessing maybe Moroso, Milodon, or something like that? I'm clueless other than that.

Todd

I'd love to have Ford employees add their comments as needed. I'm curious why the statement about "Parnelli letting Ford show Oly every now and then" triggered a response??

Todd Z.
