Here is my new frame with the shock hoops and the radius arm brackets welded on after I painted it with some gray POR-15.

The only thing you have to be careful of is termites and fire. I wish I had the time to do just that. I have the parts gathered together I just have not had a chance to work on it. Looks like you have a very good helper.

OK, I have the frame painted with Black Chassis Cote. Now I need to get the axles cleaned up and strip all of the blue powder coating off of my James Duff arms so that I can get all of that stuff painted with black POR.

Is there an easy way to strip off powder coating????

OK the rear axle and all of the radius arm stuff has been POR'd. This weekend I am going to try and get the rear axle mounted and get the front axle stripped down, cleaned up, and POR'd. I feel like I am moving at a snails pace but at least I am moving.

OK both axles are in and the motor is sitting in the frame. I still have to finish cleaning up the transmission and T-case then I will get them back in and put the drive shafts back.

Made a little bracket to mount my fuel filter and fuel pump, then mounted them to the rear crossmember. I think I am going to run my fuel lines down the passenger side frame rail, since it seems like the logical thing to do now.

Man, you're going to have a mean machine here soon. Looks like you're making good progress in my book. ;)

I have finished running my fuel lines in the back (the front has to wait till after the tub is back on).

I also decided to copy Alan's (Broncow72) idea to convert the area where the heater resided into a battery tray. I have made a couple of templates and am on my way this morning to get the metal and to use my friends metal brake to see what I can come up with (wish me luck)

That's the problem with coming up with an idea....everyone after you does a nicer job.
I like yours alot. Looks nice. Do you have the sheet metal to do it? If not I have some extra you're welcome to.
