Tallon Seats!!

brewdude said:
Well my current project is replacing my body mounts. Painting the inside of my tub with Rust Bullet. And then replacing my old seats with ones from an early 90s Eagle Tallon (just like the Eclipse). After that I'm not sure probably either work on putting together my D44 or else replacing my engine, it has been leaking like a stuck pig.

I put Tallon seats in both mine and my sons EB a few years ago, they work great.:D

accumulate drivetrain (300, C6, Klune, Atlas 5.0)

Keep me posted on how this goes. I've been talking with my friends and it looks like I'm gonna be the local who puts in a 300. Until then, I need to build my front bumper. i'm also trying to locate some 38x15 junkers that hold air to start clearancing the wheelwells. Buy, build and intall a rear 60 so I have an excuse to build and install the front 60. And at some point I need to fix the rust and paint it.

I would go with the black cage. I like black, so i am biased, but i think it would look better with your black bumpers.
On my bronco, now it in pieces with the frame in the corner of my moms garage waiting to get worked on. Its next on the list, after my soon to be daily driver ranger gets its engine and trans installed. :):) and the list gets longer and longer.

I have to install my new intake manifold gasket and my Canton Deep sump oil pan and windage tray. I'm tired of leaks and the idea of having 10 quarts of oil chilling in my Bronco makes me feel better.

Then I plan to take it apart next summer and put an awesome paint job on it

This summer its all about making my "GPWfromhell". I figure a 2400 '45 GPW with a hot 351W and 4.88 gears will be able to do wheel stands (among other things). It will also serve duty as my 'wheeler on the weekends.

Just getting it done and running. It has been " under construction" for the past 6 years.

Dusty,
Did you ever figure out what was causing your death wobble last weekend?

Balance? Bushings?

All I have to do is finish stripping the heads down, get them machined, wait for all the parts to come and put the truck back together. This should make enough room so I can start working on the next project, the tow rig.

Tow rig will be a Ranger extended cab with a stroker small block and a few other tricks.

Then there is that jet powered 3-wheeler that I have all the parts for. That will probably go together while accumulating parts for the Ranger.

That's the list for getting the vehicle collection mobile, upgrades go on forever...

This year I am rebuilding the 360motor punched 30 over, 435 trans in my 74 Ramcharger.
Next year, I will do a frame off restoration on a 68 bronco, thinking a 435 since I have a spare one, I have 4 DODGES with 435's in em, I like the tranny, it is awesome in 1st gear, with that low.

I have 4 broncos, one is rusting, which I think will be a trail rig, or just run it to death 72, one 68 is cherry, will get pics up soon, and the rolling parts bronco with a 6 cyl, 3 spd. Then a 90 bronco.
Theres a few more fords around here too........

Hmm. Pick up a new windsheild, new engine belts, hard lines for all corners to finish off 4 wheel discs, a couple adapter hubs and hope ones correct to install my toms wheel, a pair of poly seats, 2 new drive shafts and a square driveshaft to be a spare, hook up the shifter, and last but most important, deliver the junk to the fab shop for my cage to be made up. THEN I am ready to wheel!

Next winters projects will be 5.5" BC coils, Redneck Ram, and hopefully a rear triangulated 3 link.

After that, you guys DONT want to know! Hee hee hee!

The list never ends. Hopefully I'll get this much done in the next year or so.

1. New wiring harness
2. New tires
3. Modify my Holley carb .. it hates hills
4. Replace the 3 spd. Manual with C4
5. Replace the Dana 20 with Atlas II
6. Fuel Injection if I can find a decent donor.

Well, maybe that's going to take a couple years! I'm going to start on my new harness in the next couple weeks.
