Andy - I'm meeting David at the Berthoud exit at 9:00am, and we will head down and meet Paul at the truck stop. You are welcome to join us and head down together.

I got my rear bumper partially done (done enough for Moab) last night (this morning) at about 2am. I didn't get a spare tire carrier built, so Paul it looks like I'll need you to haul my spare. Fab work always takes longer than I think it should.

3 days to go...

You guys will have to wait abit if your meeting at Bethoud exit at 9:00am. It's only an hour tops, probably closer to 50 minutes, to the truck stop from there. So please be aware I won't be leaving my lil bro's until 11:00am and the kids never let me leave very easily. And you know me and my ability to be on time, so you might consider making a change in the timing accordingly, 10am at Berthoud. Just some food for thought. Or have breakfast and I'll see you at 11:00am.

In that case let's move it back to 9:30 at the Berthoud exit. We'll be meeting my sisters at Hwy 52 & I-25, plus I'd like time to fuel up and run the kids through the bathrooms. So if we are there a little early that will be OK.

So if 9:30 work for you Andy, then I'll give David a call and let him know.

Man, this is dang tempting but we're entertaining the sister-in-law from out of town. I'm trying to get a White Rim trip together for the first weekend in May; I'll start a fresh post if it comes together. Be sure and take lots of pics!

Good to hear you made it safe.

Even with the mechanical problems and the rain we had a great time. We couldn't have asked for a better group to wheel with. Thanks to all of you and keep in touch. We are in for a run in Colorado this summer. Just let us know when.

Sounds good Brad. Meetin you and giggles was lucky on our part as well. I sent my personal email to you so keep in touch. We'll have to keep this thread alive and get each other's videos of the weekend. I have watched mine three time all the way thru. Good times.
When I get mine burnt to dvd I'll post it so we can swap!!

We had a blast. It was great having Brad & Giggles join us. Just wish we could have stayed there a couple more days. I'll try to post up some pics in the next couple of days (still catching up from the trip).

Paul, glad to hear you and Jeff made it back safe. Did the tranny in your truck hold up OK?

Brad, I got your PM, I'll send you and email.

Y the tranny never got any worse. I haven't had a chance since bein home to check it out. But it held 65 mph goin up vail and eisenhower. It can't be that broke. Bronco looks no worse for wear.
I am thinking a mid to late July trip to the Silverton area, with a stop in Buena Vista and/or Leadville for Iron Chest and/or Holy Cross. Maybe 21 road instead out by G Junction. If we went to Silverton maybe we could check out Farmington N Mex? I'll probably take a full week this time.
Think it over guys and let me know what times and dates and locations work for everybody. And what sort of different ideas you all come up with!!

That's good news. U-joints are much cheaper to fix than trannys.

Looking at dates this summer, I can't do the last week in July, but maybe mid-July would work for wheeling.

I did the White Rim in October, it is a good trip, but long. It rained the entire time. I hope you already have your reservations...
