Oh, I've got my hands full alright. Good news is I have all the replacement parts and a 5.0 to put in her!
I just got back from my last mission in Afghanistan, and will leave Qatar (hopefully) on 5 January! Then I've gotta dig my Bronco out of about 4 feet of snow to get her out! Thankfully my wife has kept the tops cleaned off on my '67 and her '74 so they haven't caved in yet!

Some more work....
I installed the flamming river tilt column I picked up, and steering wheel. (incedently, the columns are made near me)
I also painted the tranny hump cover for the NP435, in POR15 black.
And I am using a stock air cleaner. At least I am still moving on this thing.

Not too many pictures of what I have been up to. I installed the tranny cover and have been messing with wiring for a little bit. I have to finish the wiring and install some new Duff shocks, Power Master cylinder, a door and fender on Sunday hopefully.

Ok, Some more work done.
I have reconditioned the old wiring harness which was in pretty good shape and got it all back installed. The engine and battery are all hooked up including my 1 wire alternator and power steering pump. Also I upgraded to a power brake system (still have to put the master on).
The fenders are back on as well as the grill which has a charcoal metallic color on it. Doors are on as well. Oh, I also installed the reconditioned radiator I picked up and the Duff Shocks all the way around. I still have alot to do, but having fun doing it.

Quick update.
I installed the master cylinder and have yet to bleed the brakes. I chased down some wiring demons also. I am waiting on some CV Yokes for my NP205 T-case, I will most likely need to cut down my rear drive shaft. Also the 4 turn power steering box I have needs rebuilt, it leaks pretty bad from the bottom, think I may look for a 6 turn as it wouldnt be as touchy at higher speeds.
Also I am beginning to tear some old stock seats apart to refurbish. Nothing really worth taking any photos of yet. So here is a pic of my other Bronco. Also I am considering fabbing up some type of center console with some steel diamond plate I have.

The rear drive shafts I had laying around were all pretty beat up and in need of being rebuilt. Seeing that I needed a shorter one to fit my NP435/NP205 set up. I went a bought a new one from JBG cut to my length. I got it installed and painted it. I also put a New Power Steering Box in (yes new), but now have to wait till the back ordered cv joint for the steering shaft to box to come in. Once that is in and hooked up I can drive it (maybe), No seats yet, I also need some kind of front bumper. I promise to get some pics up for my next post.

Here are some pictures of the cross member I used for the NP435 tranny and NP205 T case. Someone had wanted to see what I had used. I wished I had taken them from above before I put the tub back on the frame.

Here is where I am right now on her. Picture of the new Drive shaft (shortened), Having to bleed the brakes, rear bumper fit over a support (for strength) and the Shop in its Frozen glory. There is a complete 68 frame with engine and trans under the snow.

The Bronco is from North Carolina, I paid $5500 for her. I had intended to leave her pretty much alone for a while, but you know how that goes. I am planning on using this a bunch for a semi daily driver.

Been Busy. I have it moving under its own (V-8) Power now. Shifted through the gears and seems to be working good. I wanted to take it down the road but I am still sitting on a Jerry can for a seat. I got the 4 turn power steering unit working and the now, Power Drum Brakes. I still have to get my seats, seat belts in. I plan on a trail edition gear banger shifter and building or using some other type of center console. My turn signals just crapped out as well as the flashers so I have to figure that one out. I also have a roll bar for a non half cab that I was going to modify for this Bronco.
What do you all think so far. I am pretty happy and cant wait to track down all the little Demons in her and get her on the road.

The truck looks really nice. I really like the half cabs.
