I think you are on the right track...I've seen that Shackle set up (welded to the rear bumper) on other rigs that faired pretty well offroad.....Keep it up.:)

gas prices suck at $3.07 a gallon no matter what size tank. my wheelbase is 106 inches. as of right now i am going to try to get the drivetrain to survive with 36 inch tsls. i upgraded from 4.10s and 28 spline full spool and superior alloy shafts in the rear to 5.13s, 31 spline full spool and yukon 31 spline alloys this after killing 2 drivers side rear shafts. the front is going from mini spool, 4.10s and yukon 4340s with super joints to 5.13s, lockright and same shafts hoping better suspension and wheel base i will stop blowing up hubs and shafts.

106" to 110" wheelbase is perfect. you will notice a big difference when you hit the trail again. im trying to get 106" to 108" out of mine.
