I run my bronco without the top or window frames and the gaping hole makes the door look like s*%& so I built these covers that slide into and bolts through the existing holes for the window frame. It also prevents the windows from being rolled up. They turned out pretty good. I used 18 gauge sheet metal.

I sent in the patent. I see a 18 room mansion in my future. Oh wait, its for a bronco- never mind. I have never seen anyone do this though and it probably wouldn't be too expensive to mass produce.

Very nice.

I am trying to figure out how you do not have any chips on your doors yet.

You mean like this. I didn't do it during this project though. And I wasn't smart enough to touch it up when I had paint mixed to spray the fillers.

I thought about making a very thin stainless steel piece curved like the door and attaching it on the inside edge to take to contact with top. I fit my door like a nice car - now they are picking up chips because Broncos are "flexible"!
