burning oil smell

cant figure out why the bronco smells like oil is burning in the engine bay, i smell it as i drive. i have a 302 efi. i used to get oil getting up into the upper intake but when i put baffles on the vac tubes i thought i fixed that. so what gives

i know this is a difficult thing to ask.

Oil leaking out of the valve covers and onto the exhuast. Thats the only thing that would cause burnt oil smell in the engine bay itself.

I'll second the valve cover gaskets as the likely culprit. But I have also experienced a leaky P/S pump the had fluid blown back by the fan onto the header. I also had a leaky master cylinder lid that dripped onto the exhaust.
