Well, drained the oil..
Put in a known quantity pushrod..
Replaced the oil with 5 quarts oil, 1 quart ATF..
Started it up and let it heat up.. Did that a handful of times..
Looks like I'm not burning oil any more..
I'm going to let it soak and repeat tomorrow, but so far things are looking up..
