OK I have a question on my C4 governor, I just pulled it back off and got to checking everything and I got to looking at the piston that is enclosed in the housing, the side that does not have an opening on the outide and noticed that it has two flat lands on 2 sides of it. On the other C4's I have rebuilt I don't remember seeing these but I don't think I looked that close anyways do these have to go in at a specific orientation, is this a mod that the PO did or should I just stick it back in and not worry about it, below are some pictures of the flat lands on the piston.

Stock Bronco secondary valve. The other ones you saw were heavier and would cause lower rpm shifts.
