Cable throttle for ProFlo4

Right now, my ProFlo 4 throttle is connected to the stock bellcrank and it works. I want to put on cruise control and I am thinking that a good place to mount the Dakota mechanism would be where the bellcrank is now. Thus, considering a cable throttle.

Looking at this one, designed for carburetors. Since the ProFlo basically hooks up like a carburetor, I can't imagine why it wouldn't work, but also looking for recommendations?

THX,

I've installed both versions of Lokars (black & braided SS), modified a Toyota cable to work on a TPI350, and then built my own for the Valiant using motorcycle cable housing (can get it easier from Wicks Aircraft) and 3/32" SST cable.

If your level of fabrication ability doesn't normally involve a lathe then the Lokars are a well designed system. There are some things about them, that as a fab snob, I'm not excited about, but their solution works, looks tidy, and is very adaptable and usable by a normal person.

No, no lathe = possibility of being normal, but not exclusively decisive. :)

On some forums I'll be reading someone's post about how simple some problem is to solve, "you just need to OD grind that part with a Spindex on a surface grinder (if your Centerless grinder is down) and then use a Tool Post grinder on the lathe to hit that ID dimension ±0.00025" and then..... "
Yeah, sure that's simple! But normal people don't own tools like that, and when you're used to using tools like that it's easy to forget that few other people have such tools. I'm trying to mindful of that.
