Hey guys,

I have a 67 bronco with some sort of aftermarket ps. I have id the power sterring pump as a 90s ford unit but cannot id the box. Any clues?

The problem I am having is the high pressure line blew and I went to NAPA to get them to rehose the line I have because I can't, and they can't ID it. I want to get a better set up than what i have now (compression fittings, etc).

I made my own pressure hose for the power steering using Aeroquip hose and fittings. The fittings are reusable, so all you need to assemble the hose is a vise and two wrenches. Carry some extra hose, and you'll always have a trail spare. Summit carries this stuff if you can't source it locally. It sure beats the crimp type hoses and if your going to do hydroboost, you can reuse most of what you already have.
AN-6 hose, male adapter for the box and pump, and reusable -6 hose ends. You just need to figure out what size thread the box and pump are for the adapters.

Looks like it might be one of the delphi boxes used in many of the venders steering swaps nowadays. Iding the box donest always help a lot as there are several different versions and different fitting options might be metric

The problem with mine is the fitting have the actual line built into them THe metal hose has a flare on the end and has an o-ring on one end. What I did for now is get a hose with compression fittings and hacked off the old hose. It will do for now but I sure would like to know how I am going to fix it next time--especially if the metal part fails or starts weeping.

Here they are

It actually has an adaptor going into a 90s era ford power steering pump. So if I could figure out what the steering box is maybe I could at least order a fitting and make my own hose. Oh the pleasures of Bronco ownership!

Check out summit racing as garbez linked there are a lot of different fittings to choose from you can probably run a adapter on the box itself then run flare or JCI on the hose.

the box is a late 80 early 90 toyota steering box. the steel tube is 10mm you can take the steel tube out of the tube nut and replace it with 3/8 tube and it will be easier to adapt compression fittings to. I make a brass fitting so you can use ford lines on that box
