I know you cant "diagnose " anything from a photo, but I just changed my spark plugs (not lying, I know its been awhile).

I know there is A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE here on this forum. But do these look "normal" ?

If you need additional photos please let me know.

Thank you in advance for your time/help,

Sonny

2, 4 and 7 look like normal plugs to me. The others are fouled in differing amounts…in the alternative, I may be wrong as it’s been a hot minute since I was wrenching on a previous EB.

I’d say that 3, 6, 7, and 8 were either a little loose, or had substantial oil leaks right above them.
Based just off of the fact that they are oily around the threads and “shank” areas. For lack of a better term.

All I was looking at was the electrode tip. Never even thought about looking higher. That’ll break me for a hastily made diagnosis!

So, is it acting badly? Because except for 13568, they all seem to be burning at right temp. 3,8 might have been lose, might be oil from valve cover. All of them have been working for more than a few miles. The ones I noted might be a little cooler, which could be numerous reasons, but nothing to need a rebuild.

I’d put new ones in, take them out and check again in a couple hundred miles.

There is not enough timing on any of those plugs. The oil/fuel burn line should be down the ground strap to the bend or even to the weld point.
