The guys at Baja North ( www.bajanorth.ca ) in Kamloops BC are building a Class 3 early Bronco. This particular Bronco has a lot of history to it. It was originally built and raced by Ed Burnap in Oregon. He is Phoenix0783's father. Photos of it are on this post: http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120641

It was sold to Dave Fahimi from BC in the mid to late 90's. Dave rebuilt it from the ground up. It looked like a show car it was that nice! He raced short course with it for a few years then wadded it up in a big crash. It sat behind Baja North for a few years and they started the rebuild for Dave at the start of this year. The truck will be SCORE legal.

The first photo is how it looked when Ed owned it. I still need photos of it after Dave rebuilt it the first time. Obviously it will look and handle totally different than both previous rebuilds!

Chuck, I am not sure. I doubt the first year, but you never know after that. I really hope so! It sounds like there will be 2-4 desert races in Washington and Oregon this summer. They can race 4 races up here for less than the price of the 1000 once.

I know it has been a long time...this project is on the backburner while other jobs come and go. Here is a few updates from the summer. I will try to get and get some new ones in the next week or two. Now that things are slowing down for winter, hopefully they have some more time to work on it.

That thing is AWESOME!! Any more pics of what there doing in the rear? Frame extension to run longer springs for more travel? I'm thinking about doing something similar with XJ leaf springs, any idea where they got the spring hangers?
