I know they are different than OEM, but I can't find the part number despite searching. Centech's own site is no help. I could look at the ones in my Bronco but it's 15 miles away and I'm impatient/lazy. Does anyone know? I want to replace the dim incandescents with LEDs.

Thanks!

Interesting that they are dim Lars. One of the first things we notice after doing a conversion is that the new lights are so much brighter than before.
Sure, LEDs will probably be brighter still, but the Centech lighting is usually very bright.

Sorry I don’t have a bulb number. I’ll see if I can find it though. Maybe 904bronco will see this and chime in.

I got some from superbrightleds.com. I'm not sure why I ordered the blue one though.... Lol

The blue one would’ve been consistent with the highbeam indicator in most vehicles. But since Broncos went against the trend and used a red light in that position, you end up with a pretty cool looking purple highbeam indicator.

And those 194 numbers were for a Centech harness, correct?

They've never been particularly bright, Paul. It's certainly possible that mine are brighter than stock. It's been over 20 years since I installed my Centech harness though, so my memory is about as dim as the bulbs.

1895 are the original incandescents
Well. I did the duh- obvious thing and removed a bulb today, after taking a chance and buying some 194 LED replacements from Superbrightleds.com. Good thing there are other places where those will work (marker lights) because my 22 year old Centech harness uses 1895 bulbs, not 194's. I should've paid more attention to your post, Doug.

So. Got a bunch of those on the way. I will report on their performance when I receive them.

Following up, in case anyone is interested...

These are the 194 LED replacements I bought, in warm white: https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...d-led-miniature-wedge-retrofit-car/3551/7576/
And these are the 1895 LED replacements that I bought, also in warm white: https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...-5-smd-led-tower-ba9s-retrofit-car/2077/4722/

Yesterday I got around to installing them. The 194's were drop-in replacements for the exterior marker lights. They don't seem any brighter than the incandescents they replaced, but they aren't any dimmer either, and they should last more or less forever.
Likewise the 1895 replacements went right into the Centech sockets in my harness. I replaced all the instrument cluster bulbs- 3 illumination bulbs plus turn signal and high beam bulbs. The LEDs are way brighter than the incandescent bulbs I took out, though I have to qualify that, since the incandescent bulbs were somewhat blackened from age. In any case, I can see the instrument cluster at night, and my old eyes can actually resolve what is being displayed now. And hopefully it will be a long time before I have to grovel under the panel to change bulbs again, because I sure don't enjoy that anymore.

Thanks for the update Lars.
Yeah, as easy a job as it sounds, it sure has it’s awkward moments.
