I'm sure someone will have the exact number Dan. It's been posted many times so someone has it squirreled away. I should remember it after all this time, but it's just one of those things that go in one ear and out the other.

It's called the "1-ton" stuff, but in reality I believe it also fits all the GM trucks of that vintage from the K5 Blazer to the K30 pickup. Calling it 1-ton stuff just sounded cooler at the time.
The tapered hole that the draglink mounts to is originally for a steering stabilizer shock (hence it not being beefed up in that area and why they tend to bend right there) so if you're looking for which side of the vehicle is the correct application it'll be the one with the stabilizer mount.

Maybe RockAuto has pictures of it.

Hmm, not as easy to find as I thought. But the number should be an ES2233L if I have my applications correct.

Even though we don't sell that kind of equipment at WH, I still think we should come out with a beefed up version of that arm anyway. If they're not using our stuff, then we'd at least have a way of helping the customer out with an upgrade.

Of course, I suppose if you find the lifetime warranty variety, you don't need a beefy one. Just get a new one for free!

Here's a list of the jeep / chevy tie rod part numbers i saved. Just a note that the stock bronco parts are 1.0 x 18 thread.

If it ends up being the ES2233L as DirtDonk mentioned, note that a parts store replacement will not have a tapered hole in it for your drag link to attach to. That is an additional machining process.

I have a brand new one (with the tapered hole) just sitting in my garage. If you'd like it, PM me. I'll make you a deal on it.

Thanks.

Thanks for the quick responses, I guess I didn't say this correctly, the part I need is the end of the drag link that mount to the tie rod looks to 9 or 9 1/2' long.
thanks

Nope, looks like you said it just fine in the first post but I automatically jumped to the next piece in line, that actually does bend quite often in these setups. You said "end of the drag link" and I heard "where the drag link mounts" instead.

Sorry for making confusion where there wasn't any to begin with!
The part number is listed, but I don't have one of the links saved. I can't get into Madguyver's link because it wants me to sign in to Facebook. Maybe you've got a direct link Mad?
Jdgephar's list likely has the part you need listed, but it's not specified where each one goes so would have to be interpreted. You could start by verifying whether your bent end has left-hand or right-hand threads to help narrow it down. But someone will have the right part for you soon I'm sure.
