Has anyone done this on a 76 bronco? I'm looking at the one from Ballistic Fabrication. My question is what are the tie rod lengths needed for the front dana 44? Is it a standard size across the board for dana 44's ?

I will measure mine and let you know. Understand this, I have a 72 front axle with 76 knuckles installed. I don't know if this is different or not. Back to you soon.

Lots of people here running the chevy TRE. They will all be a bit different depending onthe knuckles being run. You might also check moabmike in the vendor forum for a reasonably priced kit.

I bought the ballistic kit. I would mock your links up to ensure you have adjustability and then weld. Copying anyone else's setup will likely lead to you doing it a second time.

Thats just it I don't know how much play on each side of the TR that I need.
Do I just measure the total distance between the TR holes order that size then hack it down as needed to get enough adjustment play on either side?

Measure the distance from stud to stud on your OLD setup. Then measure the length of your new tie rod ends, you want about 1/4" of threads or a little less exposed. That should give you the length of tube you need.

I threaded on the jamb nut, with weldable bung and measured the distance between where the tie rods should be. I then tacked it together and made sure I could get my toe in right. Once that was done I finished welded the bungs. That is another whole process, weld 1/4 at a time opposite sides and let it cool so you do not weld through. There is a better write up on here somewhere.

Keep in mind that you may run into wheel fitment issues with 76 knuckles and ch#vy TRE's. Most people have to run spacers unless they go to bigger wheels.
