Over heard some people talking that there were some trails closed in Colorado because of the high fire danger... We are heading up there saturday to the Ouray area and was wondering if anybody could tell me if there is some trails shutting down up there..

Thanks

Here's the Forest Service website for that area. It appears the fire ban for that area has been lifted, but the letter is dated 7/7/06. There is a phone number listed, give them a call and ask about the specific places you'll be visiting.

Kathy and I are heading to Ouray tomorrow, spend the night in town and then do a trail or two on Sunday with a small (3-4) group of rigs. If you're in town by Saturday evening or Sunday morning give me a call on my cell (I PM'd it to you) if you want to hook up with us.

Will do. We should be in town mid-afternoon; we'll stop by your place or call.
