Column shifter (manual): is there a bushing here?

Pulled the column out of my '69 to fix the sloppy shifter and obviously the collar is shot.

Is there a bushing or support of some sort that goes in the back of the turn signal housing that the shifter collar engages? Looking at it I can't see how it WOULDN'T have one, but can't find one on the parts diagrams.

No bushing, but grease helps. There's so much wear on those a Teflon wrap could both lubricate and take up some slop. Or you can simply buy both parts. Here;https://shop.broncograveyard.com/1966-1977-Ford-Bronco-Column-Shift-Sleeve-Manual/productinfo/17016/ and here;https://shop.broncograveyard.com/19...gnal-Switch-Housing-Manual/productinfo/17048/

So it's just the aluminum bearing against the other aluminum? That's trashy!

Both of these will need replaced for sure. Maybe I can turn a bushing out of Delrin to fit somehow. These are so buggered up I'll need the new parts to see.

Ideally, I'm hoping to replace it all with an AX15 if I can find one in stock..

Thanks very much for the help!

Not that it makes much difference, but I think they're made of pot metal ie. zinc. They are less than ideal but the role pin hole for the shift lever eggs out a lot sooner in most cases.
