Condensation under floor mat

right! was thinking maybe the floor would be cold from sitting in garage then i drive it, pull it back into the garage.

I think I see where you are going but the temperature in the garage would have to be below the dew point. Currently, in your location, the dew point is 59 degrees. If your Bronco got that cold, it would get covered in dew if you backed out but the floors under the mat would not because they are insulated from the warm outside air by the rubber mat. Your dewpoint and humidity are fairly low compared to where I am in Georgia. Dewpoint here is 74 today. My beers are always sweating, even inside the house.

bumping my own thread. lol. this is definitely a condensation issue. I'm thinking of cutting the vinyl mat (foot section) in front of the front seats and just us using a removable floor mat there. I even thought about using lizard skin here, but now sure i'm ready to coat the floor with anything other than paint.

no way to stop this floor pan from getting wet as the metal sweats from the exhaust.
