Corbeau Baja SS seats

Has anyone here purchased the Corbeau Baja seats that JBG sells? The price seems reasonable along with the seat tracks that are made for the EB. I do realize that this type of seat is not built for long trips or comfort. And, does the driver seat mount retain the stock seat hieght?

Thanks, Rusted1

a lot of people are running the Bajas in their EBs. They work well, but are a bit harder to get in and out of due to the higher sides. The seat height is a little bit higher than stock, I would estimate at ~1/2" higher.

My bronco had these seats when I bought it. They are super comfortable, but as bsaunder mentioned, they aren't the easiest to crawl in and out of. And if you have a lift, it makes it even tougher.

My other issue with them is they don't allow easy access to the back seat (if you have one).

Since I use my machine mostly for cruising around town, I am likely to swap them out eventually. I am thinking of finding some old Bronco II seats. The passenger seat pops up and out of the way for acces to the rear seats. (Important for getting Junior in and out of the vehicle.)

If a comfortable ride is your number one priorty, though, you just can't beat these seats.

I agree--very comfortable. I've got a 4.5 lift and the seats can be a pain to get into...eventually mine started wearing on the driver's side from sliding over the edge so much. Also if you are a big guy(I'm 6 foot, but only 165 lbs.) think about getting the larger width. My dad who is 6'2", 230 lbs hates getting in and out...but I don't let him do that much ;) They are also nice b/c you can add harnesses to them. Good luck with your choice.
