Hey guys. I'm getting ready to wire up my Dakota Digital RTX gauge setup to my 67 with a gen 1 coyote. I'm sure it'll be fine once I get into it, but it is a little intimidating. Has anyone done this? A writeup would be really helpful.

I haven't done any sort of write-up for DD, but I recommend that you look into using the BIM-01-2 if you haven't yet.

Here's what I'm trying to figure out. The PBH wire harness has a key + wire and a Start wire. The Dakota control pack has an ignition Pwr, 12 v. constant spot and a ground spot. Do I go harness to ignition and then out to control box? Or harness to control box and then out to my ignition?

The PBH has only one switched wire? So there’s no difference between ON and ACC?
If you wire your DD switched input to a wire before a switch, then it’s simply another constant 12 V.
So yes, your switched circuit needs to be after the switch.

Going to be doing multiple splices, or use that one wire from the switch to power a buss bar or common stud?

Do you have a link to the instructions for the PBH harness?
