Coyote + ZF5 Clutch/Pressure Plate/Flywheel

For my Coyote Swap I'm using a Coyote 5.0 out of a 2014 F150 and fitting it with a ZF5 and a NP205 Transfer Case. The Coyote had an automatic previously. The F150 did not come with a manual transmission option as far as I know. Does anyone know which clutch/pressure plate/flywheel setup I can use here?

Hey Adam. No idea on your question, but I’ll bring this back up to the top for others to look at.

And just out of curiosity for myself, what vehicle is the ZF out of?

The ZF should be from a 5.4 or 6.8 modular motors. Those are the only ones I know of that will have the right bolt pattern.
I'm a little fuzzy with the mod motor stuff. I recall they can be had in both 6 and 8 bolt (flywheel to crank) configurations over time. By the time the Coyote evolved out of the mod motor I think the only thing being made is the 8-bolt. If you can find an 8-bolt (confirm that is what the Coyote has) flywheel for an F350 with the mod motor and ZF, that should be what you need. That will put everything behind the crankshaft as superduty parts.

I suspect the common mustang flywheel is probably a smaller diameter. Not 100% sure of that, but that is what I suspect. I know you can get a mustang flywheel that will bolt to the coyote, but have little faith that the starter will engage, and the transmission input changed from everything I remember. So I am going to say the mustang clutch isn't going to be an option. Maybe, with a lot of mix and match parts, some of it could work but I am not counting on any of it working.

Whatever the last year of mod motors and the ZF is, that is where I would start looking at parts.

Have you asked BC yet? Have you looked at clutches for a mod motor that matches the transmission yet?
