you know this is just ridiculous I have had trouble in the past and just explained and apologized that the parts would be shipped a couple days late and there was no problem. there is no excuse for a lack of service in a situation like this especially with a MO.

Hey Chad,

Just to throw it out there. I also have a stock carb in perfect working order you can have if things don't work out. You shouldn't have to go through it or anything, just clean it up and put it on and make what adjustments you normally would. I'd be happy to send it to you if you want.

I also need to paypal you the 5 bucks for the FFL. Your email went to an address I hadn't checked in over a year. sorry.

Good News!!!

Good news!! Good news!!

I got home tonight and there's a box on my porch. Yep, craigellis77 came through for me. Thanks Craig!

Still haven't heard from him though.

Since he came through in the end, there's no hard feelings on my part. I wish he would have communicated better, and we could have kept this private, but it is what it is. :-[

Yeah, I was pretty excited to see it on the porch when I got home and even more so to get it installed this weekend and see how it works out.

My old carb has been butchered up and canabilized to the point that it's hardly recognizable from it's original form. I'm surprised it runs as well as it does.

Alan, I really appreciate that! I'm going to get a crash course in carbs this weekend, and will keep you posted as to my findings.

You never know what some one could be going through in their life. Glad you got your carb. Really glad Craig was able to put aside whatever was keeping him from doing what he needed to do. Kudos to you Craig.

I just found this thread, and I'm glad I did. I haven't read through it other than this last page, so I can imagine what's in the other two. I do my best to treat people how I want to be treated (i.e.-Golden Rule); my 100% feedback on eBay can attest to that.

In this case my family has been put under a lot of stress because my father had an 8-inch tumor removed from his spinal cord the second week of August. He had 7 MRIs in the span of two weeks before the neuro found the source of my father's problem which had been overlooked after his referral to the neuro.

The were barking up the wrong tree, thinking the problem was in his lower back. Six MRIs showed nothing in his lower back. Finally, something made the sheet pull away from the neuro, and he immediately called for another MRI. That one found the tumor which had been preventing him from walking.

My mother took him to UMC in Jackson immediately, and they started surgery at 2 a.m. to remove the tumor. This was August 15. They spent the next 5 weeks in Jackson, so I had to take care of their bills and house, my bills and house, and teach 130 college kids full time (my day job) while they were gone.

They made it back to Tupelo, Dad is beginning to get some movement back in his left leg (right leg is back), and I don't have as much on my mind. My family was uncertain until just a few weeks ago whether or not he would walk again or even live.

The carb got lost in the mix. I apologize for taking longer than expected; I would never stick anyone by not sending a part or holding up my end of the deal.

Craig, if you haven't done so, I would go back read the whole thread. I think I was fair with you and pretty understanding.

I appreciate your honesty and the issues you have had to deal with, you are a stand-up guy! I hope you father the best and will keep him in my prayers.

By the way, the carb is running well!!!

Thank You!
