The different size is old school a lot of people believed the narrow tires would break the trail and leave some dirt/Mud for the wider rear tires to bite. I run 15 by 8 with a standard 3 1/2 in backspacing with 31X10.5 on an uncut bronco with a 3 1/2 in lift and 1in body lift. Have yet to rub the tires.

BUT it is the other way around..the narrower ones are on the back!..THAT is why it is so perplexing!..AND the wider ones up front are made for the front locking hubs to clear..the rear can't be moved to the front because the opening is not large enough to vlear the hubs..anyhow I will be attempting to sell them.
I don't know why anyone would want them except that they would look nice on a basic stock Bronco AND they are Super Clean;D
