Custom exhaust or exhaust kit?

Local muffler shops want an arm and leg for carp work. 10+ years ago I started buying mandrel bends from places like SPD and Columbia River and haven't looked back. Was in a jam one time and had the supposed best in the area build me a system. I asked for one specific feature, and didn't get it. They went out of their way to make what I wanted to do not possible. That's the last job that they will ever get from me. The father was a good dude, the son, not so much.

Won't be doing that again, that stuff is carp to weld.
Yeah, but you made it look good! I’m guessing you TIG welded it being as it’s SS.

I did, and it was the worst for blowing holes in it. Normally SS is more tolerant of too much power than mild steel. Not that stuff. Only just slightly too much heat and kablooie!
