I have installed the 1-Ton with the TRE a couple times. Beefier than stock but not nearly as HUGE as the "Clydesdale".

Correct, Ruff Stuff does not make an Off-Set Y-Link.

So after some researching if I wanted to put together a Fab Series setup using 7/8" rod ends just in parts alone it'll be about $500 bucks not including any DOM tubing. So considering that the Clydesdale is really not a bad price for something that's ready to bolt up.

So i guess I'll go a different route. Maybe you guys can help me out here?

The top 2 steering setups I'm looking at are either the Duff setup with Heim or Extreme Custom Fab with 1 ton tie rod ends. So I guess it comes down to Heims or TRE? Any input and recommendations are welcomed so I can make my final decision.

That James Duff set up looks pretty nice. And since some one was talking about "freeing up space" for hydro assist. Have you seen a trac bar riser? Great anchor point for the other end of the ram. https://dufftuff.com/product/track-bar-riser-bracket-1966-77-bronco/

Also search on here for thread talk about a Kiser Riser? That is what I got for mine, I seem to remember a little bit more $, but a way thicker bracket. It's is a beast!

Kiser Riser made by Bernie Kiser. You can contact Bernie here by email: broncogt@yahoo.com

Or WH offers one. https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Trac_bar_riser/Bronco_Trac_Bars

I don't Care for the Heims and not a fan of having to drill a large hole straight through the Knuckles.

I don't remember seeing you mention our Heavy Duty (mid-range) 3-way adjustable steering linkage SSD. Are you aware of it at least and ruled it out for this vehicle?
It's a larger than stock diameter step up from stock, but not the massive beef of the Clydesdale setup.

Located here: https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Tie_Rod_Drag_Link_3way_Adjustable_6675yr/Custom_tie_rods
You can check out the image. Not a lot of detail because I have not gotten around to adding the wording after the last version of the text was removed.
Basically though it's a heavy duty tie rod centerlink with two short tie-rod ends and an adjustable drag link.
The centerlink used to be made from chrome-moly steel, but I can't confirm that it's still that way since we started coating them. A change from the bare steel they were before, which looked misleadingly like polished stainless steel. With that look most people neglected to paint before installation only to find it rusting within weeks, to as little as a few days. So the coated parts are new-ish and nicer (but without the really cool machined/polished stainless look) thankfully.

Stronger than stock, with more adjustability, but retains the original stock geometry exactly.

Anyway, check it out if you have not already, read the reviews (mostly good I think!;D) and see how it compares to the other stuff you're contemplating here.

Thanks for letting me promote again!

Clearance around the diff cover and add'l clearance for the ram can be achieved with bending the tie rod to give you more room. Then you could use "stock" style heims or tie road ends

I love my Duff SRE steering linkage.
I believe they bought out Bulletproof or Rock Crusher steering....something like that. Anyway, it's tough, it's smooth, and I really like the saddle for the drag link that allows for precise alignment of the drag link and trac bar.
Guess my old stock stuff was worn because I noticed an immediate improvement.
I went TRO with an axle riser and back to a stock pitman arm but you don't have to do it that way.
I even re-installed my stabilizer. I really like the Duff set up.

Those are some nice greasable ends but pretty expensive haha

How long have you been running that setup for now?
