Cut fenders before or after paint?

I am a half a step away from priming and painting the Bronco and I am wondering if I should cut the fenders before or after I paint?

I'm thinking before... but I'm not savvy in that area so I thought I'd ask before I got myself into a bind.

Thanks

That's what I was thinking... so I'm going to have to drop the $300 on flares just to mock it up... bummer.

Oh well... gotta do what you gotta do.

I've done it both ways and, IMO, it's best done before paint. You don't risk chipping (or burning if you plasma cut), the edges can be rolled if desired, and they'll be covered with the primer & paint along with the rest of the body rather than having to do it afterwards.

I am probably going to do the Gorilla Warflares from WH and I'm in Huntsville, TX.

cool, I have a set of rears that i have not installed yet still in the box. If you would like to use them for mock ups your more than welcome and just pay the shipping that way you don't have buy some right now. Let me know;)

Just did it myself, definitely do the cutting before you paint. Also, do the fitting, drilling and shaping. Then when you get the paint on you can just bolt your flares in place. Mine worked out great. You can check out the pictures in my gallery.

Thanks for the offer Skiddy. Considering I'm doing front and rears I'll end up buying some fronts anyways. I'd rather just go ahead and buy them.

Thanks again, guys like you make this such a great community to be apart of.
