D20 shift rail cap removal

Hey guys,
I'm in the process of rebuilding my T-shift D20. I've got it completely torn down at this point with the exception of the shift rail caps. I can't seem to find any information on removing them. Is this something typically done with a rebuild and if so how do you remove/reinstall them?

Thanks in advance for any info

You don't need to remove them if they are tight and in good shape. If you need to take them out you can knock them out from the inside using a loose shift rail.

Thanks Viper. They look almost new. I'll leave them in and put a little sealer around the seem where they meet the case.
