Are all the rear sliding gears the same? T shift vs J shift vs jeep vs scout?

What about shift forks?

Bronco rear slider was 33 tooth for both T and J. There were at least 3 different part numbers though. Don't know what the difference was. All rear forks should be the same.

Jeep and Scout sliders were 31 tooth. These forks are different too.

Hey Viperwolf,

Is there a quick and easy way to tell a J shift from a T shift when they are sitting on the ground side by side in front of you? Is there a serial number to reference when they made the change?

Yes. The shift rail ends are different between T and J. As for the S/N, the change from T to J was somewhere between 1729758 and 1741638.
