I did as you describe. There is a rib inside the case that I was struggling with in locating the new fitting. It was to tight to put the ARB fitting just to the right oof the vent tube to stay on the outside of the internal rib. Wanting to have easy access to the ARB fitting. It needed to stay on the outside of the rib. So I decided to repurpose the vent hole by drilling and tapping (1/4 npt) if for the ARB fitting. Then I moved the vent hole in 2 1/8” (measured from the cover face) to the other side of the internal rib and 3/8” to the right of it’s original location. Drilling and tapping 7/16 - 20, for the vent fitting. As for the pretty tubing. I need to make new ones anyway. The brake line nuts are pretty beat up.
