I would only go 200. max unless those tires are brand new and the size you want.

The only thing with value is the disc brake 44. Out here they're $600-800 depending on condition. The only 9" worth extra $ is a 77 for the better housing. Used tires are cheap allday long on c/l.

Where does he say they are broken?

A few years back, I picked up a set in awesome condition for $500. The 9" was the torino style, and not the '77 version, but I still think I got a really good deal.

He's just messing with semantics...the OP said D44 with disc breaks versus brakes, hence the "broken" comment.

As for the axles, they could be worth scrap value to $750 or more depending on condition, options (lockers, gears, brakes, etc) and location in the country. The more details the better when trying to nail down a value.

I dont think they are broken . Tires are not brand new but had trim. Disk brakes have a little value because I dont have them . He said there is a lockrr in the rear but he dosent know the brand. I only have a dana which I think is fine for now . But once I dig further into this project I well prob end up changing. So from the sounds off it I should offer two hundred.
