I had a similar experience. Tarred and papered.

I got my horoscope from the Gillette, WY paper from Sept 30, 1990 too.

I had a Uncle that would always fix holes like that with roof tar and aluminum foil and more tar!!%)

Looks like the brace on the drivers side is alittle bent or maybe it is just the picture.

That is an easy fix. The passenger side has issues, but nothing a little welding can't fix.
And BTW I out of floor pans. Sorry Tom.
